Toronto, ON – Unlovable ESC (known colloquially as “The Unlovables”) today announced the formation of a new electronic sports club with the unveiling of its Quake Champions and PLAYERUNKNOWN's Battlegrounds teams. With a roster stacked with talent from many different games, Unlovable ESC looks to compete at the highest level of esports in Quake Champions, PUBG, and beyond.

“We're super excited to finally reveal the team and brand we've worked so hard to assemble,” said Unlovable ESC player-owner Jake “mojo” Valianes. “The roster we have is a group of up and coming players with an immense amount of natural talent. Every single player on this team is capable of being the best in the world at any game they play, and we look forward to conquering the world of Quake Champions, Battlegrounds, and any other games we play in the future.”

Quake Champions team “I Totem Teles” adds esports veteran “mojo” in a coaching role to help bring an already surging team to the next level. His 15 years of pro gaming experience is sure to bring the Quake World Championship and Dreamhack Denver qualifying team to new heights. Joining them is a team of battle royale newcomers with an immense amount of esports experience. “Our PUBG team might be new to the world of BR, but they undoubtedly make up that lack of experience with pure talent and competitive drive,” said Valianes. “With enough hard work and dedication, we have no doubts that this team will rise to the occasion and one day compete with the best.”

The Unlovables roster is as follows:

Quake Champions
    Ken “ckap” Miller
    Ian “botmode” DeMartinis
    Patrick “sen” Landry
    Zachary “Kane” Atwood
    Jake “mojo” Valianes

PLAYERUNKNOWN's Battlegrounds
    Jake “mojo” Valianes
    Zachary “Kane” Atwood
    Dylan “dbutter” Butter
    Cameron “GNiK” Touchette
    Brandon “gotcha” Godron

The Unlovables can be seen this weekend competing in the Dreamhack Denver Quake Champions tournament, as well as IEM Oakland qualifiers (PUBG), Dreamhack Sweden qualifiers (QC) and many more events to come.
